this is one wonderful record!

i got the record a few years ago and it is by far the most interesting Sciascia record that i have ever heard.

a mix of space age, exotica and mad orchestrals. somehow like a mix between John Barry's You Only Live Twice score and Roland Kovac's Trip To The Mars record with a little Les Baxter in between.

get it for 50p, it's great!

Of the albums I've heard I must say I much prefer Impressions in Rhythm & Sound.

Does anyone know when this album was originally released, if it was indeed an album that was released?

Absolutely released, yes, by Ember/Vedette.
Date unknown. My guess is end of the 60's.

Haha! Yes, I saw that before I posted, so I don't know why I even wrote that. Probably a senior moment. A total brain fart, wondering if another Trunk release (the vintage theme tunes comp) was an actual release or a Trunk compilation, whilst writing about this one.

D minus, must try harder!  ;D
