Hello everyone, here are some good records on the Diagram label.
The EPs from this label are varied and pleasant, offer rhytmic and catchy tracks as well specific genres like bossa, valzer, liscio etc.

It is difficult to compile a full catalogue of Diagram because it has releases with different numbering, in addition a few tracks are present on various EPs, even with different titles.
Curiously GDS 002 A-001/80 B has different catalogue numbers on the two sides.

The compositions are for small group, written in a simple style with a great use of moog and keybords. Giulio Del Santo, Ubaldo Beduschi, Riccardo Zara and Clara Maria Teresa Serina are the main composers.
May be the tracks from those EPs were used for themes of radio and TV programmes and cartoons. In addition I read in an auction that these records were meant to be played in cinemas before the film was shown, but I can't confirm that.

I selected the best EPs from the label of all the ones I have.
My personal favourite is 009/81, with the beautiful "Blu Safari" and "Ocean", but there are good tracks on all these, as "After Hour Snooze", "Passionate Glance", "Could This Be Love", "Lost Dream", "Patty and Mauro", "Free Admittance" and the psychedelic "Humming Together", which is an instrumental version of "Jungle Boogie" by Kool & the Gang with electronic organ and fuzz guitar, very cool.
