Hi library music fans! I hope my thread is in the correct forum.
The Sound of TV with Neil Brand, a three-episode documentary series just finished airing on BBC4. As you might expect it covers a broad range of topics, from the earliest TV programme theme tunes up until present day, music for commercials, BBC/ITV/Channel 4 idents, and much more, including sections on library music, KPM/Keith Mansfield and Test Card music which may be especially interesting to members here. Thought you might appreciate being tipped off about it, I've certainly enjoyed this series a great deal. The first episode will only be available for the next 20 days so if you're interested in catching it, definitely don't sleep on it too long! (note: it may not be possible to watch this if you do not live in the UK.)
