Given that I've just happened across a podcast about library music in films featuring our very own Lord Thames, I'll assume the answer to the initial question is a resounding "Yes! Old news!"  ;D

I'm actually shocked that KPM didn't come along and have those all ripped down in the last 4 years or so since about 95% of the entire KPM catalog has become available commercially in that time (for digital download purchase + streaming).

I feel like the Internet Archive often gets overlooked even in Google searches.

With all the abandonware software and sheer amounts of data archived there, Iím not sure if they have a ContentID equivalent. Tags and metadata can also be spotty, I had quite a few things that didnít show up unless I remembered what the original title was.

I only discovered it because someone directed me there for some cover scans, over on a soundtracks forum. I thought at first that it was some official online library or archive that was basically just free like IMPSL or somewhere. I might've known that there are fingers in most pies, where there's money to be made.
