Which LP does this track originally come from?
« on: August 26, 2020, 06:27:59 PM »
Hi there.

I was wondering if anyone could help me to identify which LP these track originally came from.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gBScqYTZzU

The track is called 'Serenity' and is supposedly composed by Paul Kass. All I know is it's a Parry Music track and features on Parry Music CD 'Drama Orchestral Moods 1'. It may have had another title but I'm not sure. If anyone knows any information - please reply to this message. Thanks :)

I can send you an unedited file as itís loads of short tracks and already got a big pile of stuff to edit.  Mind you itís a longer weekend so will do what I can.

In return do you have a list of stuff used in SaD?  I bet I have most of it and could pull a compilation together.

That would be great Retronic! :)

I do have cue lists for Sons and Daughters on my fandom page (https://sonsanddaughters.fandom.com/wiki/Sons_and_Daughters_Wiki) which is gradually getting updated when I have the time. Just click or search for episodes and cue lists are contained in the episode pages. There are some unknown tracks though, some are which on my YouTube channel.

Great. Iíll have a look. If you have the unknown ones as sound clips I may have them. If used in Prisoner I likely have it.

Ooh, I know one!  This one is 'Again' by Simon Park from the de Wolfe LP 'Title Track' (which has been uploaded here somewhere)

Thanks Lord Thames for identifying the track :)

I'll be uploaded a few more unknown tracks to my channel soon.

Anyway, thanks again.

Here's PML 44- the B-Side is unedited.  I started it but you have to be in the mood to edit 54 different bugle and trumpet calls!  :o

Useless trivia regarding some of those trumpet cues - some of these (speciifcally the "Trumpet Calls" by Brian Austin) were also released as sound effects on the Series 1000 library from another Canadian company, Sound Ideas. Brian was the founder of that company, so I guess that explains how these ended up on his library.

Love your website, by the way - really interesting, especially the music details.

My mum used to watch Sons & Daughters when I was a kid and I hated it, but now I'm having to talk myself out of buying the complete series on DVD!

Thanks Lord Thames :)

My fandom page is still really a work in progress. I update it when I have the time.
