Silent cartoon music
« on: August 04, 2020, 01:57:50 AM »
I stumbled upon a Dailymotion account the other day which had a bunch of early animated cartoons - some of the copies they had had some intriguing music that I'm wondering about, that I'm pretty convinced are probably library. I've included timestamps for when the cues I'm most interested in play. If you know any of 'em - thanks in advance!

EDIT: jaboschen thinks these are from the Ole Georg/Capitol Hi-Q library. If you recognize any of these as being from OGM or Capitol, let me know.

Don't know the names, but I believe the Ole Georg library has a bunch of these.

Thanks for the help, but personally I'm not sure if some of these are OGM. The "Automatic Moving Company" track and the "White Elephant" opening track (not the brassy music over the title card, the middle Eastern-ish music playing after that) sound kinda French to me, vaguely Roger Roger although I'm not 100% sure they're his work.
