Hello everybody
« on: July 27, 2020, 12:16:24 PM »
Hello! I've finally got around to registering here. I've been fascinated by library music for many years, it probably stems from a childhood (this is going back to the 1970s) sat watching the BBC test card for several hours, totally immersed in the music they played, which you rarely heard anywhere else. I often found the test card much more entertaining than anything else on BBC1 or 2.  :D

Anyway, it's good to be here. Cheers for having me!

Welcome.  Your introduction sounds all so familiar.  I think there's a number of people here of roughly the same age with the same experiences with regard to listening to test card music from the BBC, in their childhood/youth.  Library music, in a way, is a tier up from test card music in that it encompasses so many different genres.
Lift/elevator music?  Give over.
