Irishmoss, on my Mac instead of Stuffit, to open RAR files I use a freeware Mac app called The Unarchiver. Just now it worked on the files in this thread with no problems. Try that...

Tried to open on a PC . Same issue. Nothing I'm downloading opens with winrar or stuffit

On PC have you tried installing 7-zip  hxxps://www.7-zip.org/

Right click on folder and choose extract with 7-zip here.

Keka on Mac works fine, always. Free.

And the Mac also has a built-in utility called Compression Utility, which usually works with no problems. Just right click and choose "open with Compression Utility".


I never had any problems with these two solutions.

Greta i had same problems with mac, and never managed to solve it .
Some uploads just cant be extracted.
I have long routine of downloading it at home, copy to hard disk, exporting it on my PC at workplace then listening after work...annoying but its like that
I just didnt find out a way to export some files, mostly rar, zip sometimes work normally
