Just for fun... Library LP design mish-mash!
« on: June 20, 2020, 09:20:51 PM »
I did these a few years ago. Simple premise.. take a music library LP and present in the style of a different library.

Bruton LP in the style of DeWolfe

DeWolfe LP in the style of KPM

KPM LP in the style of Josef Weinberger

KPM LP in the style of Bruton

Can you not see them, Stack?

What software do you use for the aging effect?

I've collected pre cert UK videos as a youngster and a similar thing happens there with fans designing faux video covers of a film as though it were released on a different, iconic label.   So you come across 'I Spit On Your Grave' on Intervision instead of Astra.  If collecting passes on to the next generation no doubt these fakes (the video covers, I mean) will become holy grails for collectors.... "So rare, I never met anyone who even saw one...."

Haha wow, great job!

Did Bruton ever have front-only laminated sleeves, though? Heheh

You can do them in either GIMP (free and wallet friendly) or Photoshop (expensive) or any multitude of similar graphics editors but if you are not familiar with them then expect a steep learning curve. Eight years old but but you get the idea, for example...

Hands up, give me all your hammond !

They were created using InDesign and the aged effect was added in Photoshop. Thanks for your kind comments, folks!
