Personal Development Library Music
« on: May 18, 2020, 12:47:06 AM »
Can anyone recommend some good 70's, 80's, or 90's personal development style library music companies/albums?

I've been listening to this music every day for about a year now, but just recently found out it was called library music which was how I found your forum.

So far I've found that Network Music from universalproductionmusic and Omnimusic from apmmusic have great selections from these eras, but I'd like to find as much of it as possible and start a collection.

Here's some examples of the styles I'm looking for:

Those first 2 videos I linked are from Network Music, album NM119 Personal-Drive-(Industrial).

I'm looking for the motivational sports styles, as well as the laid back, optimistic music that you'd hear on personal development tapes from the 80's and 90's.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much

Interesting angle!
Not familiar with such tapes, but based on the clips I believe they keyword here is "Corporate", thematic releases of which you can find on many labels. The more upbeat ones would be what Network calls "Industrial".
As these were largely US-produced, Network and Omnimusic are logical places to start. You may want to check out FirstCom as well, another major player.

@Mr thank you, these are the definitely the keywords I was looking for.
As an update, I've ended up finding several albums from Network Music and Omnimusic, ranging from the 70's to 90's that are exactly what I was looking for.
My favorite being this one:
I will continue the search with FirstCom next. Thank you!
