A nice treat for the weekend, I thought.
My new rip, cleaned by Voleslavich.

A very good easy listening album from 1978, perhaps undeservedly neglected?
Seems a collaboration mainly between guitarist Horst Mühlbradt and Peter Herbolzheimer, with Ack Van Rooyen guesting on some nice Flugelhorn and clever musicians all around.
Dextrous vibraphone input by Wolfgang Schlüter, here under the name Warren Dublin.
This is decidedly more easy listening than Herbo's big band funk combos, where Mühlbradt also was a consistent part.

Track B3, "Nanà", is a stroke of genius by Van Rooyen. I included it on vol 11 in my comp series. Other favourites of mine: "Ein Tag In Paris", "Latin Groove".

Thanks for this tuneboy! Nice to see some Herbolzheimer here. I have The Carfish LP and love it. Been searching for a copy of “Wide Open” - any chance you have a rip of that?
