Canada at Large (1965) - The DeWolfe Years
« on: April 14, 2020, 10:12:41 PM »
A labour of love...my take on an imaginary 1965 documentary soundtrack using DeWolfe library tracks. So obviously thanks to the posters of the original tracks (the performers are listed).
The 17 tracks are mixed with a voiceover from a real documentary about Canada I found on YouTube. I just love that library sound from old shows. I thought it turned out pretty cool so I thought I'd share. Enjoy. And yes Canada is responsible for most of the world's asbestos. Sorry.

This is pro-level album art, also something of a hobby of mine. Curious, do you have a background in art or design?

First class presentation and totally awsome musical choice and voiceover...I can't do anything but succomb to its charms...being from Montreal makes it easy to connect...I remember those 60's documentaries they used to play on TV between regular program presentation and it does sound likewise...even better...
Thanks for this "labour of love" indeed...a real time travel...

Refreshed my memory of a certain William Loose famous TV program score: Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Theme...narrated by Marlin Perkins... :)

Thank you all for the kind words. I've done graphic designer stuff for ages and have designed a few professional projects. My skill comes from my annual Xmas CD I design every year in a very retro style so this was easy. I do everything with some super old Photoshop program I scammed somewhere. I have a new Library project which is I just finished so stay tuned on this page. Cheers!

I used to explore around the old Welland Canals.  The third canal was fun to walk.  How did cars manage to get in it?  From what I've read it's falling apart.
