There are different alternatives :

Another host as :
https://uptobox.com/ is a reliable host, good speed, price a very low and you can download for free a certain amount of data (per day)

A multi uploader system as :
https://multiup.org/en/ - it allows to upload to various hosts, which could be interesting as multiplying the hosts could help to keep the files "alive".

Or, rather than the files hosted there is downloading alternatives as
- using bit torrent, via a seedbox and a private tracker
- using a private server dedicated to data storage

I'm looking for an automated re up system (automatically reups a file that is down on a host... heard about it, didn't found it yet.)

I too wondered about the massive amount of dead zippy links here. I developed a theory that at LMT, it might be a feature, not a bug. I.e. if you're not active, you'll miss things, and you don't have a giant piggy bank of music to simply vacuum up. Just a theory, anyway.

I like that theory ;)

Haha - an interesting take, yeah.
There's something 'organic' about the forum activity, I guess.

People are helpful with reuploads anyway, so it works well despite links dying.
