Found this link to a lot of Library albums. Unfortunately they are all mp3, but maybe you will find some rarities you haven't heard yet. http://librarymusic.eklablog.com/

That's such a great link; I discovered it around the time it went up, and I've grabbed several hundred albums since. It would be fantastic if there was an update, taking it past the letter C.

So, for anyone who listened to some of the files--and familiar with cues used on the 60s Spider-Man and Marvel Superheroes cartoons, are there any gems discovered?

I was surprised to discover a Bruton Music album, "Ireland" by Patrick Campbell-Lyons [of the 60's band Nirvana]! :o

This blog adds large hidden bitmap files to the zips, making them seem larger than they actually are.

Take the first file on the site for example.  It contains a hidden bitmap file named "40librarymusic.eklablog.com.bmp".

Why did they add a 40 MB hidden bitmap file?
The actual zip size should be 67 MB, not over 100 MB.

You wouldn't notice the files unless you turn on viewing hidden files on your computer.

The only reason I can think of for doing this is to make people think the zips are higher quality than they actually are.

Just hop onto soulseek. You'll find many library archives with way more than 1500 albums, and you can verify the content.
