DIY comps on blog
« on: August 15, 2018, 08:21:03 AM »
Hi folks!
I'm a new member of this forum. I've been making my own DIY comps for some years and have reached 54 volumes. Most of the tracks are from my own LP rips, but they also contain tracks from many other sources. I haven't uploaded them anywhere, but I'm willing to share them with interested parties through Wetransfer if there is any interest. The covers and tracklists I've made for them can be viewed on my blog, which also has an introduction post to the whole series. You should read that before going any further.

Btw: The blog is not only for library but also contain many other things.

Great design work! I love it. I'd be interested in hearing the "Vibraphone, Marimba, Xylophone, Bamboo" one.

Thanks, a8detective. Yea, I spent some time on those designs, all done on old Word pages without any special apps except WordArt. Here is the vibralink, flac. Only for a week.

Thank you, tuneboy! "Snowride" is one of my favorite pieces, but everything else is new to me. I enjoyed the Syd Dale tracks the most.

Glad you liked it, detective. I think the Syd Dale album which the tracks are taken from is an underrated gem. A really powerful recording.

I personally love the Frank Barber Percussion "Bach 'N Bongos"
You make a good comp!
