Capitols Wanted
« on: October 27, 2021, 02:06:12 AM »
Just wondering, does anyone here have any of these specific Capitol albums?
D-107/108
L-57/59 (original release with "MR" cues, not the "Beat Documentary" reissue)
X-42/43 (OG version with "American Indian" and "Japanese Dramatic" cues)'

I'm really intrigued as to what's on these "MR" albums - and I'm starting to thereorize that there might be some "holy grails" of mine on the L in particular. If anyone has any of these, plus other "MR" albums I may not know about, I'd be grateful.

I have an old MP3 rip of L-57/58 dated 2014, and a WAV rip from 2017. Not sure if these are just from the reissue. What are the "MR" cues?

Also Andrew posted D-107/108 last year in FLAC.

An obscure prefix Capitol used for a few select albums. I know nothing about this particular set, but I'm very intrigued. The content on these were replaced by the now-circulating Loose material on those specific reels, so I won't be surprised if that D-107/108 rip is of those "underwater" Bill Loose cues.

Interesting... and yes, Andrew's post of D-107/108 are the Bill Loose cuts TC-745 - TC-754.

Would've thought as much.
