Sad news. His music will be with us all for a long time yet.  Cracking keyboard player and will be sadly missed.

When I first discovered Library Music, before I even knew what Library Music was, Alan Hawkshaw was probably the first to point me in the right direction, so sad to hear of his passing :(

Very sad news to hear of this. I had some friendly correspondence with him about 8 years ago cause he was a pal of someone I was working with at the time. He seemed like such a nice person. Been a fan of The Hawk long before I knew anything about library music from his Disco works.

But it was the above tune that was part of my original "to ID" library journey that introduced me to a whole other world of his work. May he rest in peace.

First heard Hawkshaw's work on Spider-Man, but it lead me to many other works of his that were some really groovy stuff. RIP.
