d_dgjdhh: I agree with you 100%--Ken Aldin was not contracted by Score Productions to compose any themes at any time.

"Ken Aldin" isn't a real person, of course. It's well-known that its one of German composer Jurgen Franke's aliases. He's also credited using other aliases such as Frank Mantis and Juan Demonio.

#28 appears to be an instrumental version of Aretha Franklin's 'Think' - no idea who it could be by, though.

Thanks for the information, I'll do my research on who it could be.

I'm wondering if it's from the "Living Brass" who performed it. The sample was between 1969 to 1970, and searching through YouTube didn't yield results yet, aside from learning which versions they are not (which definitely helps narrow the list). EDIT: so I found a sample on Internet Archive, and it's not it either.

It's not the following:

1968 -- Aretha Franklin (ORIGINAL)
1968 -- BWD Orchestra
1968 -- Harold Johnson Sextet
1968 -- Jimmy McGriff
1968 -- Lonnie Smith
1968 -- Patrick Williams
1968 -- The Detroit City Limits
1969 -- The Chicks
1969 -- The Roy Meriwether Trio
1970 -- Bossa 70
1970 -- Living Brass

One of the items listed was removed. Item #19 was removed because it was determined to be live music.

29 is 'Quiz Ball' by Tony Hatch, specially written for the series, and retitled 'Whizz Ball' when released as a track on one of his albums (and given a sophisticated jazz treatment by Roy Budd on one of his records too!)

Oh neat, thanks for that info. I thought it sounded familiar.

I was also search for music used on a program called "The Dating Game" in the US during the years 1965-1974.

Some of Tony Hatch's music ends up on that show on occasion too.

EDIT: I see there was another version of the tune from The Jay Five in 1968 as well.

Given that folks have been helpful in finding the tunes, I'd certainly think it would be a good idea to share them.
