« on: March 01, 2021, 08:29:56 PM »
Does anyone know any library albums that has any elements like Prog Rock, JazzFusion, Folk or Symphonic Rock in them lately I've been itching to get some new albums but don't know where to start?

IMHO, if you don't know where to start, you should try compilations :

There's a fabulous thread by Tuneboy :

Every comp. has a very little description (or the tile says it all) of what kind of music you can expect.

A wonderful compilation has been made by Retronic of the complete soundtrack of the Sweeney TV series, covering the best of british library music of the 70s

And many other comps you can find here, especially Italian library for prog-rock.

I'm sure you will find a lot of prog, fusion and even folk (Symphonic Rock i don't know), with generally a heavy dose of jazz, funk, easy listening, electronics and also classical, abstract, ambient, etc.

Once you have spotted an artist you like, you can search for albums. That's what i would do, and what i have done :)
