Possibly selling our collection
« on: July 26, 2021, 02:24:00 AM »
Hey everyone, it's been a while since I posted here.  Nothing has changed much since I most recently posted.  Our professional lives have just kind of taken over and we simply do not have time to do our podcast and honestly, we don't really have time to enjoy the records that much either.  As we grow our household we are realizing the records are more or less just taking up space at this point, so we think it may be time to sell the collection.

We don't know how, and we don't know where.  She wants to maybe consign it to a record store to sell for simplicity's sake.  I kind of want to tackle selling them individually either through community forums like this one or on Reddit, and also on sites like Discogs.

All I know is this: this community was the absolute best when we had the time to sink into these records and learn more about the world of library music, so if anyone wants to open up a private discussion about buying anything in our collection, please feel free to reach out and we can talk, though I do want to warn that I may be a little slow to respond.

This is the spreadsheet of all our records: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_v0wfggG4MQ5TAaGpRwKEd2Jweeld5mrK6FGfYmY2ko/edit?usp=sharing

This is our Discogs profile that also has all the records on there (that were listed on Discogs anyways): https://www.discogs.com/user/Dumpster_Vinyl/collection

I remember there were some of I was interested in.  I’ll take a look after work and drop you guys a message. Records take up a lot of space!  My spare room is testament to that. Glad you’re both well and enjoyed the adventure.
