I've updated the list and compiled a sortable/filterable Google Sheets spreadsheet of all the information we have including: name, library, album, release, first use, last use, and artist. There's also a tab for '# Of Songs By Library Use By Year', to visualize which libraries were used so it could maybe help determine which library and where to look for the remaining tracks.

Good news, I uploaded all my copies of the cleaned up unknown song samples I did onto youtube and multiple got ID'ed.

Unknown Song 6: Like The Wind from Valentino VT040 (Sports Vol. 2 - Electronic & Rock 2) https://bmgmusic.sourceaudio.com/#!details?id=204972

Unknown Song 21 got ID'd as 'Overdrive', but that's all it lists, no library or owner information. Need help narrowing it down.
EDIT: Overdrive from Amphonic Music AVF75 (POWER U.S.A) https://www.spiritproductionmusic.com/track/MzI5NjQyMTQtZmM0OGJk / https://www.nslibrary.nichion.co.jp/albums/1243-AVF75

Unknown Song 39: Power Plant from Manhattan Production Music BRG1019 (Electric Arc): https://manhattan.sourceaudio.com/#!details?id=314040

Unknown Song 40: Surf Your Own Wave from Manhattan Production Music, BRG3004 (Alternative Energy) https://manhattan.sourceaudio.com/#!details?id=324873

Finally found that one. It's 'Overdrive' by Howard Jones and Tim Shaxson from Amphonic Music Sound Stage library album "Power U.S.A." [AVF 75]: h++ps://www,nslibrary,nichion,co,jp/albums/1243-AVF75

From what I know, Sound Stage is still distributed in the US to this day by Spirit Production Music (successors of Opus 1 Music).

Thanks for fully ID'ing that one.  :D

Hey Godzfire, thanks to a recent post by Sammy Reed I recognized a few more (https://librarymusicthemes.net/index.php?topic=5924.0).
They can be heard in "2 - Sports-Action Collection.wav" starting at:
4:09
11:03
11:52
Not sure about the last one because the original samples are difficult to hear. They were known as Musikos up until 1992 and then changed to Davenport. Most if not all of your tracks from 88-92 are probably discontinued tracks from Musikos. I have a stack of their CDs but I don't recall having any of these tracks.

Good find!  (I coulda sworn I'd looked at this thread more recently than 3 weeks ago  :-[)

This page claims Musikos was founded in 1990, but the Primetime songs I recognized on that wav track obviously predate that.

Unknown Song #11 has been identified.  It's called "Spring Training," but the artist is unknown at this time.  It's on Musikos MS3 - Sports 3, but it must've originated elsewhere since its use on Primetime predates the existence of the Musikos library.

I don't know if it's any help but the BMI repertoire seems to link some of the Musikos titles to MIBE Music: https://www.mibemusic.com/
All I have is disc #4 and some track listings for all the CDs. Please send any Musikos albums my way! I'll be posting what I have here soon.

I have Sports 3, Corporate/Industrial 1 & 2, and all 13 (AFAIK) "Pantone" albums (the album numbers are all pantone color codes).
The two C/I albums and the first 5 Pantone albums don't have any Primetime songs on them.  I haven't listened to the other 8 Pantone albums yet.

Here's a tumblr page that adds some more info:  LINK

Also, here's the Primetime Music discord site if you're interested in joining:  LINK

Also (unrelated to Musikos), I got a request to ask you if you know anything about obtaining a clean cut of the 1998-2004 (and 2006-present) NFL Primetime Title Theme.  It's obviously a re-recording/re-arranging of Edd Kalehoff's "ABC Monday Night Football MIKE Theme," but no clean cut of the NFL Primetime version seems to exist anywhere aside from inside ESPN.

Hi Mvemjsunpx,
I couldn't find the composer in the BMI or ASCAP repertoire, so I don't know if it ever made its way into any libraries. Have you tried asking him directly?
You should also see this post. It contains a track listing of all 4 Musikos sports libraries:

Thanks to a new AI vocal removal technology/site called X-Minus (https://x-minus.pro/), I've been able to use it to have YouTube ID 3 new Primetime songs, including the remaining 2 longest used tracks that weren't made by John Colby:

US 38 (1997)  - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVKi7vfZKeY
Gut Wrencher - from the album Thrash [BRg Extreme Cuts]; Manhattan Production Music/BRG
https://manhattan.sourceaudio.com/#!details?id=324750

US 41 (1997-2005) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8Jv5l3b0lU
Old School Radio Bed - from the album High Definition [BRg Contemporary]; Manhattan Production Music/BRG
https://manhattan.sourceaudio.com/#!details?id=313506

US 47 (1997-2005) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=634CtgvWsyg
Touch & Go - No production library listed (Only copyright owners: LatinAutorPerf)

--------------

Also has previously stated, at least 4 1988 era songs are on Musikos Sports CDs. We have 3 & 4, but missing 1 and 2, where we think the others and possible more are.

US #09 (10-88) / US #09 (10-88) ? from Musikos Sports ?
US #11 (10-88) Spring Training from Musikos Sports 3
US #14 (10-88) ? from Musikos Sports ?
US #17 (06-88) (Pedal to the Metal?) from Musikos Sports ?
